I’ve been hearing some buzz lately that my latest Lisette fabric collection has finally hit the shelves at Spotlight stores. And guess what? It’s high time I share all the exciting details with you!

Working on these designs has been such a joy—watercolor techniques paired with soft, layered hues create prints that feel loose and carefree. The watercolor adds a delightful texture to the designs, making each piece unique. We collaborated with a new mill in India for this collection, and they truly knocked it out of the park. The entire range is printed on a gorgeous jersey fabric that feels amazing to touch. The quality of the printing is exactly as I envisioned.
Jersey fabric is incredibly versatile for sewing—it stretches well and snaps back into place, making it ideal for various garments. If you're familiar with knitting, you’ll know how rewarding it is to work with. This particular jersey is substantial enough for leggings yet still drapes beautifully for dresses and T-shirts. Honestly, I couldn’t have hoped for anything better. I’ve been testing these fabrics for months now, and I’m thrilled with how they turned out.
To showcase the collection, we put together a few samples to inspire your projects. Naturally, T-shirts are a classic choice, and the School Bus T-shirt, Field Trip Raglan T-shirt, and Lunch Box Tee are all designed specifically for knits. For the Lunch Box Tee, I paired an orange and blue scallop print with a solid from Robert Kaufman’s Laguna jersey collection. The colors complement each other perfectly!

*(Unfortunately, we couldn’t find our khaki Field Trip pants for the photo, so we used jeans instead.)*
You might recall that I recently made new pajamas for S using the Playtime Tunic and Leggings. These have become a go-to loungewear set—not just for bedtime but also for those lazy weekend mornings when we stay in our PJs until late afternoon. (The leggings even made it to school a couple of times, proving their comfort and durability. She loves them so much she refuses to take them off!) You could also try the Hopscotch Top or Dress, which are both designed for jersey fabric.

I’m eager to wear these prints myself, and it turns out the Liesl and Co. Everyday Skirt looks fantastic with jersey! Just remember to add a woven fusible interfacing to the front waistband to prevent stretching when worn.

The Metro Tee and Bento Tee patterns would also pair wonderfully with these fabrics. I’ve been daydreaming about making the Lisette Attache peplum or dress in jersey—it sounds adorable! Similarly, the Lisette Diplomat dress, especially the shorter version, would look charming in these prints.
These fabrics are exclusively available at Spotlight stores right now. If you’re in New Zealand, Australia, or Singapore, I can’t wait to see what you create!
