The rising world Yarn production in Asia is in good shape

According to the International Association of Textile Manufacturers (ITMF) on the third and fourth quarters of 2013 global yarn production forecast, the results show that the good momentum in Asia, Europe is more sluggish. YARN OUTPUT Global yarn production Global yarn production rose sharply year-on-year year-on-year in the first quarter of 2013 as a result of higher yields in Asia, North and South America despite lower production in Europe. On a year-to-year basis, global yarn production has also risen, as a result of high output in Asia, South America and Europe, but North American production has dropped significantly. In the second quarter, the growth was even more encouraging: Asia rose to 7.7%, especially in China, reaching 9.9%; North and South America were also good, though with a slight decline in Europe. In the first quarter of 2013, global yarn inventories remained almost unchanged, with lower inventories in Asia and Europe and slightly higher inventories in South America. Likewise, global yarn inventories have remained virtually unchanged on a year-to-year basis. Yarn orders from Europe and Brazil increased slightly in the first quarter of 2013 from the previous quarter. On a year-to-year basis, yarn orders in Europe have risen, but orders in Brazil have dropped. Compared with the same period of the previous year, global yarn production increased by 7%, with Europe and South America rising by 7.6% and 4.6% respectively, while North America and Europe saw a decrease in output. In the first quarter of 2013, by contrast, global fabric stocks declined from the previous quarter due to the reduction in inventories in South America and North America, but stocks in Asia were even higher. Compared to the same period in 2012, global fabric stocks fell due to the low inventories in South America, North America and Europe, but this is not enough to offset Asia's high fabric stocks. In the first quarter of 2013, fabric orders in Brazil increased but orders in Europe declined. Fabric orders in South America and Europe showed a year-on-year decline. In the second quarter of 2013, global fabric output rose sharply in all regions, up 4.8%, especially in Asia, up 5.4%. Compared with the same period of last year, the global fabric production continued its good upward trend, with output up to 9.6% in Asia and 4.2% in Europe. However, South America ushered in a sharp decline of 20.8%. Prospects For the third quarter of 2013, the yarn production is optimistic about the European outlook, North America and South America remain normal while Europe is gloomy. The same is expected on the production of textiles also worked. A similar estimate was made by the United States of "Textile World" that the more optimistic regions in the fourth quarter of 2013 were still Asia while the ones in Europe and North America were neutral. Yarn inventories rose slightly in the second quarter of 2013 due to higher inventories in Europe, up 4.4% and Asia up 1.2%. South American inventories fell 1.9%. As a result, the global inventory of yarn increased by 3.5% as inventories increased in all regions. Global fabric production declined in the second quarter of 2013 due to higher inventories in North America, thanks to a 7.8% fall in inventories in the South American market. Compared with the same period of last year, the global textile inventories fell by 4.6%, as inventories dropped in North America, Europe and South America, especially in South America, down by as much as 20%. However, on the other hand, the stock in Asia has risen 1.1%. Textile orders from Brazil surged 25.6% in the second quarter of 2013, but dropped 1.7% in Europe. Compared with the same period of last year, Brazil's fabric inventories rose 1.2% while Europe dropped 0.3%. As for yarn orders, Europe and Brazil dropped by 5.5% and 1.5% respectively. Compared with yarn orders in the fourth quarter of last year, Europe dropped by 3.7% while Brazil achieved 15.8%.
