This month, at Sofitel Royal Lagoon in Dongguan, CARMEN Calvin sponsored the Hong Kong film *Emperor CITIC*, featuring world-renowned supermodel Lin Jian. As the season transitions into spring, the show embraces bold colors and dynamic movements, capturing the essence of romance and elegance through every step.


CARMEN's chief brand consultant, Arthur Ke La La (also known as Clara), was raised in a middle-class family with strong traditional values. From an early age, she developed a love for art, literature, and culture, which shaped her refined taste and deep appreciation for aesthetics.
A pivotal moment in Clara’s life came when she first attended a performance of the classic French opera *Carmen*. The character’s fierce emotions and rebellious spirit left a lasting impression on her. While many saw Carmen as controversial, Clara admired her courage to love deeply and stand up for her beliefs. This perspective, however, clashed with her family’s expectations, leading to tension and self-reflection.
Inspired by this experience, Clara embarked on a journey across Europe and Asia, immersing herself in different cultures, philosophies, and artistic movements. Her travels in France, Britain, Italy, China, and Japan broadened her worldview and ultimately inspired her to create the *CARMEN* brand—a fusion of Eastern and Western influences that celebrates the inner strength and beauty of women.
